10 Best PR Accounts To Follow On Twitter

Who are the best PR accounts to follow on Twitter? The answer is there are tons, literally tons of them and while this list is a small fraction of everyone who is influential in the PR space on Twitter, we decided to round up the 10 best for various reasons.

Inspired by the thread below from Sarah Evans and the answers within the thread, we decided to compile a list of PR accounts that we and others follow to seek advice, tips, and direction from within the public relations space.

 

 

Lou Hoffman, The Hoffman Agency

Why we follow: 

Lou Hoffman is a veteran public relations professional with over 35 years of experience. He is the Founder and CEO of The Hoffman Agency and is the author of Ishmael’s Corner, a blog that tells storytelling through a business prism. Lou’s feed is witty and packed with insights any PR professional would benefit from knowing.

 

Dorothy Crenshaw, Crenshaw Communications

Another veteran PR professional, Dorothy Crenshaw has been in industry for over 30 years. Katie Delahaye Paine, Paine Publishing

Katie Paine was originally a reporter for the Boston Herald from 1976 to 1979. From there, she got her start in public relations and communications in 1986 and has been perfecting her craft ever since. She’s been called “The Queen of Measurement” and her timeline truly show why. She is a must follow for today’s data-driven approach to PR.

Christina Nicholson first started her career as a journalist reporting for a number of broadcast news outlets in the mid-2000s. All while being a full time mom!

Follow her for insights, tips, and advice from her own experiences and from others.

 

Tressa Robbins, Burrelles

Since 1998, Tressa Robbins has worked for Burrelles, a PR and communications software provider. She’s also been an instructor at Southeast Missouri State University where she taught courses revolving around social media, PR measurement, and integrated communications. Aside from helping with PRSA and PRCA. Her feed is filled with lots of news and resources any PR professional would find helpful and relevant.

 

Francis Ingham, PRCA

Francis Ingham has a plethora of PR experience and titles to his name. He’s the Director General of PRCA, Chief Executive at ICCO, and Executive Director of LGcomms aside from being a visiting professor at The American International University in London. If you’re a PR pro in the UK chances are you already follow Francis and if not you should start soon!
